Hi Zapier Community,

I'm experiencing an issue with my Zap that shares WordPress posts to a Facebook page.

While the headline is being shared successfully, the featured image from WordPress isn't being posted to Facebook.

Here is the Zap scrrenshot:

I've tried to change the “Photo” to other options such as “Feature Media URL” , but it didn't work.

This is how it looks on the FB Page:

Thank you for helping.

Hi @OshiZ,

Welcome to the Community.

If your WordPress to Facebook Zap isn't posting images, ensure your WordPress post has a publicly accessible featured image in a supported format. Correctly map the 'Message' and 'Image URL' in your Zap. Test with a recent post, and if the issue persists, Facebook's caching might be the cause. Use Facebook's Sharing Debugger to clear the cache by pasting your post URL and clicking 'Scrape Again' to refresh the image.

I hope this helps! If you're still having trouble, please let us know, and we'll continue to assist you.

Hi, thank you for trying to help, I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I tried what you suggested and I still can't get Zap to work - now it's pulling as an image the logo of the company that built my website, which appears in tiny print at the very bottom of the site.

Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks again.

Hi @OshiZ,

Your Zap may pull the first image on the webpage, like a company logo. To fix this, try specifying the desired image in your RSS feed, using a different trigger (for example, "New Image Post"), or customizing the Zap with a "Code by Zapier" action. If the issue persists, contacting Zapier support may help.

Hey @JammerS, thanks again for replying. I’m not sure to where my RSS feed is, do you mean this?

If so, I didn’t find a parameter called “New Image Post”.

In regards of “customizing the Zap with a "Code by Zapier" action” — It’s way above my head :)

Should I contact the Zapier support? Any other Ideas maybe?

Thanks again!

Hi @OshiZ,

Your hosting platform usually provides your RSS feed URL, like "yourwebsite.com/feed" for WordPress. Check your platform's documentation if you can't find it. The "New Image Post" parameter may not appear in Zapier for RSS feeds; instead, look for "New Item in Feed" to trigger Zaps. The "Code by Zapier" action allows custom coding, but consider other options if you're uncomfortable with it. If you're still having trouble, contacting Zapier Support for detailed help is a good next step.
