It was working perfectly fine last week but after I added an unrelated filter step to the zap today, it gives me this error message. I’ve tried deleting the action and making a new identical one, pulling from different customers, and moving the search customer contacts action to different places within the zap, but nothing has worked yet. I could try deleting the zap and making a new one from scratch, but this zap is rather complicated so I’d like to avoid that if at all possible. Thanks!

The Zap step error indicates the Customer ID 22714191 was not found.

You can confirm this by checking for that Customer ID in ServiceTitan.

 

I tried two other customers, got the same error message, and searched for the Customer IDs in ServiceTitan and it didn’t show any results for any of them. I noticed that the “Customer ID” in ServiceTitan for the accounts isn’t matching the “customer ID” being pulled by Zapier. I would think that I may be pulling from the wrong field but none of the fields for any of the customers is showing an ID number that matches the one found in ServiceTitan.

 

Hi ​@Laura Ciriello , seems you found the issue :) The easiest way to find the customer ID is:

 

  1. Get one of the test data, and grab the customer name
  2. Go to your app and look for this customer, get their ID.
  3. Go back to the test data and look for this ID so you know whats the field name.

I’d already tried that and the correct customer ID was no where to be found in the pulled data. I just duplicated my zap, and tried it again and now it works so it must have been another bug in the original zap, but if I do have problems that arise with this new duplicate zap, I’ll be sure to return here to ask for help. Thank you all for your help!
