"Send Outbound Email in Email by Zapier" zap indicates it was "successful", but no emails are received by recipient or cc: address.  The zap was working fine for a year or so, and two-three days ago just stopped sending the zap-resulting emails.

I did look at the entire history detail before posting to the Community board.  The “send email” step was labeled as “SUCCESS”, with no email received by the recipient.  See attachment.

I reviewed DataOut as well before posting.  All seems to be as expected.  See attachment for actual output (some items changed for privacy reasons).  Again, this Zap was sending emails until it inexplicably stopped doing so a couple days ago.

Disregard the prior msg & attachment … it was from my zap’s step1 … “new or updated google docs row”.  The attached to this msg is the DataOut of the zap’s step3 … Send Outbound Email in Email by Zapier.


I have opened a ticket with Zapier support.  Response is non-existent so far.  VERY DISAPPOINTING.  The emails not being sent is impacting my business! :(

It’s generally advised to use a different email app such as Gmail, Outlook, etc. for your biz email communications.

Use an alternative email app: If you need to send more than 10 emails per hour, consider using a different email app, such as Mailchimp Transactional, Mailgun, or Gmail. These apps typically offer higher sending limits and may be better suited for bulk-sending emails. 


Thanks.  I’ll look into the other email client option.  That said, I shouldn’t have to since my volume does not reach the threshold, but it appears Zapier Support is not going to be timely with helping me on this matter.  :(

I reviewed logs on our end and this is the error we saw:

In this case, I've removed the specific email from the bounce list moving forward and we should send emails to it successfully. Please ensure this is an active mailbox to avoid emails being bounced down the road as well.

If you’ve got any questions regarding their suggestion it would be best to continue the conversation with them over email. If you can’t locate their reply I’d recommend searching your spam/junk folder or searching your inbox for any emails from zapier.com in case. Sometimes their emails can end up in the spam/junk folder by accident.
