New to Zapier. Creating a zap that takes a recorded call/transcript from RingSense and email it to my outlook inbox. I successfully completed that action. The second action is to use the same trigger and send the recording/summary to a practice panther client matter page. The test is pulling a call log that shows sample “John Doe” calls and the test is failing, in essence saying that the matter does not exist. I have tried to pull new logs/calls from the history, but I am up to J and it is still just pulling a sample call with John Doe. I am stuck. I have called RingCentral and they gave me a support ticket and hopes that I will get a call back in 24-48hrs. Any help to be offered her? Thanks in advance.

Your Zap is progressing well, but the issue likely stems from Practice Panther not recognizing the associated matter. The error suggests the matter (for example, "John Doe") doesn't exist in Practice Panther, so the test fails. To resolve this, confirm the matter exists in Practice Panther, ensure correct field mapping in your Zap, pull in new data samples, and try reconnecting your Practice Panther account. Also, Zapier tests often use placeholder data like "John Doe."

The matter does nor exist in my Practice Panther. John Doe is a sample matter created by Zapier to test the Zap. There was no instruction to create a “John Doe” matter in Practice Panther prior to running the test. Also, pulling new data samples simply recreates additional John Doe samples.

If your Zap with PracticePanther keeps showing "John Doe" as sample data, it's likely using default test data due to the absence of real entries. To resolve this, ensure actual data in PracticePanther, refresh the Zap trigger, or create a real test entry for Zapier to detect. If the issue persists, deleting unwanted samples or contacting Zapier Support may help clarify any deeper integration issues.
