I signed up last week and paid for a year of Zapier.  So far it doesn’t do anything I need it to do. It says it integrates with Dubsado but all it does is one function that is not what I need.  All it does is create a new project.  I am trying to automate things on existing projects so that creates a new project for anything I do which is useless.  I tried workarounds with webhooks but was told by Zapier chat that they won't work and it’s not capable of doing that.  They were supposed ot have someone follow up with me but never did.  I have tried to go to plan B which is to build scripts in google sheets and automate some things that way.  I built the scripts but zapier isn't pulling any of the data from Dubsado even into my google sheet.  So far it seems to be useless and a waste of my time and money.  Suggestions?  Can I get a refund?

Hi @MGia

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier developer platform.

Try reaching out to Dubsado Support for help with their Zap app integration.

Info about Zapier refunds: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496277302157-Change-or-cancel-your-Zapier-plan#h_01J6HG5ESC623BZDR8BYN78JTK

Zapier subscriptions are non-refundable, subject to applicable local law.

Hi and welcome to the Community @MGia! 🎉

Sorry to hear that the Dubsado app doesn’t have the action you need. If an app is ever missing a trigger or action, please do reach out to our Support team so they can submit a feature request for it to be added.

It looks like there’s an API Request action you could potentially use, instead of a Webhooks by Zapier action, to update existing projects. To set that up, you’d need access to Dubsado’s API documentation. However, it doesn’t look like they have any public-facing API docs, so you may need to reach out to Dubsado’s Support team to get access to their API documentation if you wanted to go down that route.

In the meantime, I can see that you’ve already worked with our Support team to sort out the issue of the data from Dubsado not being added into Google Sheets. It appears the issue was due to the setup of the spreadsheet—there were rows in the spreadsheet that contained formulas so they weren’t completely empty, which caused the Zap to add the information to the very bottom of the spreadsheet.

It seems that you’re all set for the moment but please do let us know if there’s anything else we can help with. Want to make sure you’re all set! 🙂
