I am trying to RSS my content onto reddit, but it keeps showing this issue: “This account connection is expired. You'll need to reconnect the account before continuing. Learn more” |
Hi
I’ve added both of you to the list of affected users, and we’ll email you both once an update is readily available. Thanks.
Same here, please add me to the list to get notified when fixed
I’m having the same issue. Any update here? Looks like this has been a problem for over a month now
Hi
I've added you both as additional affected users for this bug. Unfortunately, there are no updates yet. We’ll make sure to keep you informed via email as soon as it’s resolved.
I appreciate your patience and understanding.
Hey everyone,
Just popping in with a quick (and slightly overdue!) update: the bug has now been fixed!
Huge thanks for your patience while we got this sorted. If you didn’t catch the email update, here’s what you need to be aware of:
Reddit Integration Now Requires Your Own App Credentials
You’re receiving this update because you requested notifications about changes to Zapier’s Reddit integration.
We’ve resolved the previous authentication issue. To continue using the Reddit integration, you’ll need to create your own Reddit app. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Reddit Apps page.
- Click "Create app" or "Create another app" and fill out the form with:
- Name: Choose any name you want for your app.
- App Type: Choose "web app".
- Redirect URI: Use `https://zapier.com/dashboard/auth/oauth/return/RedditDevAPI/`.
- After creating the app, enter the Client ID shown under your app name when connecting Reddit to Zapier.
Please update your Zaps to the latest version and re-authenticate using your own Reddit app credentials.
