Question

Pipedrive 'Find Organization' not returning metadata (but a $HOIST$ field)

Recently we’ve run into an issue that only sometimes arises, where a ‘Find Organization in Pipedrive (3.6.1)’ will only return the following fields in Data out - when the Org is found:

  • ID
  • $HOIST$
  • Zap Search Was Found Status

This only happens sometimes, and the other times it will correctly return all metadata from the Organization in Pipedrive. The $HOIST$-field however is new and contains a long string between “hydrate|||” and “|||hydrate”.

I see no pattern in this as it will work one time and fail another. See images below - one with the issue and another working as intended. This is an issue as I’m using some of the data returned to determine next steps in the zap.

Any idea if somethings changed in the integration or if something is setup badly?

Hi @GAIS

Check that you are using the most updated version of the Pipedrive Zap app.

Hi @Troy Tessalone,
Thanks for your comment. To my best understanding the latest version is 3.6.1 and I see no newer version anywhere - neither prompted or unprompted.

Weird thing is, that the version number is not shown on an older entry:

@GAIS

I’ve experienced and seen some other users report issues with “find/search” steps in some Zaps.

Wondering if there is a Zapier platform issue somewhere.

I’ve just found the same issue when using a find/search step with AirTable. Some Zaps ran fine and the data out populated, but others returned the same as @GAIS:

ID
$HOIST$
Zap Search Was Found Status
