I am having problems with it pulling older items into zapier with Pinterest. I also created new items tonight and they did not pull. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

To help us have more context, please post detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured.
Zaps work while turned ON for new data going forward.
The Pinterest Zap triggers are scheduled meaning those can take from 1-15 minutes to fire depending on your Zapier plan.

Can you provide more details about the issue you are experiencing?
If you Zap is ON, then try testing.
Check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step to help you troubleshoot.
The Shopify New Product Zap trigger is scheduled. (see previous comments)
The test from Zap Step 2 returns an ID that can be used to find the Item in Pinterest.
