Hi everyone,
I’ve run into a consistent issue where the OneDrive action “Create Text File” fails with the error:
"Failed to create a file in OneDrive. Error from halted execution."
This happens even though:

The folder (
/deadshaft
) exists -
The file name is clean (just
deadshaft
) -
The file content is simple (
deadshaft Ping\n
) -
The connection to OneDrive tests successfully
This exact same Zap works fine when switched to Google Drive, so the issue appears specific to the OneDrive integration.
I saw older threads discussing a similar bug, supposedly resolved — but I’m still experiencing it as of July 2025. I’m currently on a Free plan and cannot open a direct support ticket, but I’d like to know:

Has this bug reappeared for others?

Is there a current workaround (besides switching to Google Drive)?

Can Zapier staff add me to the affected user list if it's still a known issue?
Any insight or confirmation from others running into the same thing would be helpful.
