I am trying to create a zap to add a note to a lead when a meeting is scheduled through cal.com

Every other “add note” endpoint has a search step, such as deal or person, it’s only lead that doesn’t have the search step.

I can search for a lead in separate action, however, this does not link to the “add note” action, so the standalone “find lead” action is pretty much obsolete when it cannot be attributed to another action.

This feels like a bug? Is this intentional?

Figured out a solution.
I noticed that the lead value field is static by default, but can be changed to custom.  It confused me when every other field is a custom value by default.

Hi @BCHP Digital

To clarify, these Pipedrive field expects the ID of the record, rather than the name of the record.

  • Person
  • Organization
  • Lead
