No matter how many times I try the emoji specified in Slack's New Reaction Added, it does not appear in the test step.

Welcome to the Community.

If the "New Reaction Added" trigger in Slack isn't working in Zapier, ensure the correct emoji is used (case-sensitive), the reaction was added recently, and the Zap is monitoring the right Slack channel. Also, verify that the connected Slack account has appropriate permissions. Reconnecting Slack or checking Zapier's task logs and status page may help identify the issue. If the problem continues, contacting Zapier Support is recommended.

We have the same issue and checked all the above + didn’t change anything and it suddenly stopped working.

If the Slack "New Reaction Added" trigger isn't working despite initial troubleshooting, there are a few deeper steps to try. Ensure the Slack app connected to Zapier has the correct permissions and OAuth scopes, like reactions, read, channels, and history, and that the Zapier bot is a member of the relevant channel. Also, make sure reactions are added after the Zap is turned on. Recreate the Zap as a test, check the Zap history for errors, and review Slack and Zapier status pages for updates or outages. If the issue persists, contact Zapier Support with detailed configuration info for further help.
