New Sharetribe users not creating/updating records in HubSpot due to "User Type" error

Hi,

When a new user signs up in Sharetribe, I want to create a new/update record in my Hubspot CRM. If the user doesn’t exist it would create a new record, and they already exist it would update the record. The user has a “User Type” that is breaking the zap, but I’m not exactly sure which side I have to fix. Please see associated screenshots. Thank you!

Hi @brettjw

Use a Lookup Table to translate values from Sharetribe to HubSpot.

HubSpot expects the values on the right side to be passed for each option.

e.g. eventhost > event_host

So I could just change the Hubspot user type fields to match the Sharetribe “internal name” fields? (rather than do a lookup?)

@brettjw

Yes, or vice versa, just be careful as that can possibly have breaking impacts on the data in each app.
