New Paid Order in Shopify Not Triggering - Orders from Marketplace Connect

I’m trying to help a client and can’t find any documentation on this.

 

My zap is using the “New Paid Order” trigger from Shopify. It is using the latest Shopify connection.

 

My client has Shopify Marketplace Connect installed to sync orders across Shopify/eBay. Orders that come in through eBay are not triggering the zap.

 

What really has me confused is that if I test the trigger to pull in new data, orders from eBay do show up as available test records. However those same orders do not trigger the zap to run.

 

Is this a known issue? Is there any way around it?

Can you post screenshots showing how the Zap trigger step is configured in EDIT mode to give us more context?

As this trigger doesn’t have any other parameters to configure, I’m unfortunately not sure that there’s much context to be gained from this screenshot, lol. But all the same, here you go! :-)

Are the synced eBay orders “paid”? (Zap trigger is new paid order)

 

 

You may have to try using a different Shopify Zap app trigger event followed by a Filter step.

 

Otherwise, you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support for possible guidance:
