My second trigger is Calendly and it's asking for a start time

My first trigger was a gmail account for inbox. Second trigger was zapping the calendly account so the customer can pick a time and date. When i am in the second trigger regarding calendly it is asking for a start time and other specific information. I assumed that the created calendly account with set dates and time of operation would send over to the customer. Why would i have to fill out all of the extra information?

Hey there @Gordon L 👋

It sounds like the Zap might be using either a Book Meeting for Invitee or Create One-Off Meeting Link Calendly action since it’s asking you to select a start time for the meeting.

If you just want to send a link to the customer to book in Calendly directly then you use a Gmail Send Email action instead, and add your Calendly scheduling link directly into the Body field on that action. That would allow the Zap to email the link to the customer and when they click the link, it’ll open up Calendly and allow them to book a time based on your existing availability settings in Calendly.

Since the Zap is triggering on new emails in Gmail, make sure it’s limited to only look at emails in your Inbox, otherwise it could also trigger on the Sent emails that the Zap sends and cause an accidental Zap loop.

Let us know if that does the trick!
