Hey, I’m having a problem when posting to LinkedIn, and hope someone can help. when the post hits LinkedIn the video or image thumbnail is always missing. how do i fix this?

 

i have attached some screen shots.

If images or videos aren't appearing in your LinkedIn posts via Zapier, ensure your Zap is set up to include media in the “Create Share Update” action with correctly mapped, publicly accessible URLs. Verify that your media meets LinkedIn's requirements (for example, JPG/PNG/GIF under 5MB for images or MP4 under 5GB for videos). Test manual posting to LinkedIn to confirm if the issue lies with Zapier or your media URLs.

Based on the screenshot you shared, there is no mapped value on the Preview - Thumbnail Image field, so you would need to map a valid image file or URL for that to work. 

Then, when users click on the image preview, they will be redirected to the link mapped in the Preview - URL field.

i have just mapped the preview and its worked. I originally had this set up but the videos did not show a thumbnail. Thank you. 

 

Its now set to show images and when a video is posed followers can just click the link.
