Tawk is a live chat app. We use tawk on our website for website visitors to chat directly with us.
Outside of work hours, live chat is turned off. Instead tawk requests people to enter their email address to ask a question. We have a zap setup so that when people submit their email, they will be added to a group inside of mailerlite. It does not work. People who submit their email are not added to mailerlite. How can we resolve this.

I can see that you attached a couple of screenshots to help us solve this with you, but they look like they haven’t loaded properly, could you try adding them again for us? Thanks!
In addition to uploading those screenshots again, could I ask you to take a look at the Zap history for the Zap? Can you see any Zap runs there? Are there successful runs or runs with errors? If you can’t see any Zap runs, that tells us that the Zap isn’t being triggered properly. If there are runs but the mailerlite step is running into an error, take a look at one of those Zap runs and let us know what the error says.

The goal of the zap is to send each email submitted in tawk to mailerlite. Our website with tawk - https://www.thecvspecialists.com/
To answer you question about the zap runs, the zap runs are seen in some cases(with error) and in certain cases they are not seen in the history.
1) When the zap runs are seen in the history and why they show up with error (Refer to image: ‘tawk live’)
As explained earlier, we use tawk on our website for website visitors to chat directly with us.
During work hours, live chat is turned on as seen in the attached image: ‘tawk live’. This allows people to chat directly with us and get immediate responses.
It’s a direct chat so there is no field requiring them to submit their email.
To quickly recap, The single and only goal of the zap is to send each email submitted in tawk to mailerlite
But we don’t need Zapier is this ‘live chat’ case since there is no email entered that we can send to mailerlite.
But the zap is activated inside zapier anyway and since no email is entered, the zap runs come up with the error - Required field "Email" (email) is missing.
2) When the zap runs are not seen (Refer to image: ‘tawk not live’)

But this time, when they do submit their email, it appears zapier is not activated as no zap run is seen in the history and this is the main problem we are facing.

Thanks for the additional information!
I did some digging into this, and it seems like the chat ended trigger won't get triggered for offline messages since there isn't any chat session that were started. If a visitor submits the offline form from the chat widget, it will just send an email to the owner.
Looking at the Mailerlite app it looks like the “Email” field is a required field. Is there any way for you to modify your Tawk app to have the visitor input their email address before starting a chat?
