Hi, I have set up a subscribe form in squarespace and Zapier integration so I can have a mailchimp tag associated with the submission. The tag is not coming through with the form submission, help

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings.

Thank you, I’ve added screen shot of my set up.
I was able to get a tag to come through when i entered an email address of a current subscriber of the form, but didn’t work for any new subscribers submissions

Change Zap step 2, to this action: Mailchimp - Add/Update Subscriber

You can set the desired Tag.

 


Thank you! That worked for the test, but not for a new submission :(

How do I know which subscribers were added through my Zap?

You can look at the Source field on a subscriber record, in your Mailchimp list, to see how it was added.

 

Subscribers won't show up in list immediately if you have double opt-in

If your MailChimp list has double opt-in enabled, you won't see any subscribers added by your zap until after that new subscriber clicks through the double opt-in email. However, your task history will show a successful task immediately, even if the subscriber does not confirm the double opt-in email.

From your screenshot, the Source field shows 1 Subscriber was added directly from Squarespace and the other was added via Zapier.

The form is hosted on Square space with a zapier connection - does this mean the connection is not

I tried to view zap history but font have access?

Zap app connections can be managed here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Squarespace can be a bit tricky to get working in Zaps.

Can be related to order of operations in terms of how you connect Squarespace to Zapier, whether directly via Zapier or connect Zapier via Squarespace.

If you are the owner of the Zapier account, then you should have access to the view Zap Run details.

Try logging out then back in and make sure you using the correct owner logins for the Zapier account.

Another thing to check...

Did you delete the Zap?

Those could be Zap Runs related to a deleted Zap as indicated by the screenshot.
