We’ve used the same, two-step, zaps to connect our LinkedIn events to HubSpot lists/forms for a few years with zero issues. We use the “New Lead Gen Form Response (Organic Content)” when a form is filled out that connects to “Create form submission” for HubSpot. It seems that the information that comes from LinkedIn Data Out shows the users LinkedIn ID + email. I’m not sure if this is a bug in Zapier? I’ve seen a few other issues that have been resolved this month and tried these solutions:

  • Unconnected - Reconnected HubSpot account
  • Unconnected - Reconnected LinkedIn account
  • Created a new Zap

My understanding of code is very limited, I can figure it out if I have to but I’m hoping someone or Zapier has a solutions. Screenshots also describing problem. Thanks in advance!

Hi there @lgt_accounting_admin,

It looks like you were affected by the LinkedIn Ads API migration. We have a help doc on how to tackle missing data in the action step here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/29527732684045-Action-required-for-LinkedIn-Ads-users#h_01JMVM4ATV9MW2RHADE5W8RCBC

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Unfortunately this did not fix the issue. We did have one person with 2 connections that I removed. But I’m still getting the error. They added their connection after the app update. Do you have any other ideas? Thank you for your help!

Hi @lgt_accounting_admin,

Thanks for giving that a try!

I noticed that the email data from LinkedIn Ads Zap run might be different from the trigger sample data. Kindly refer to the screenshot below:

Could you please try to use the custom pill mapping method to manually map the data from the Zap run. Here’s how to perform the custom pill mapping:
