Oh, foo.
Zapier could not connect to your account.

Requested version 20240101 is not active

Best answer by SamB

Hey everyone 👋

I’m so sorry about these errors and for the delay in me replying here. @AndrewJDavison and @DennisWF, yes it is a known bug and I’ve closed the other topic that was discussing this same bug so that we can keep track of things in a single place. @ThoughtsBrewing, @marycanady, @rohank-magic, @Klimate and @Mina Kozman including you here so you see this message too.

There was a bug report opened for the these “Requested version 20241101 is not active” errors. That issue was resolved yesterday so things should be working again now.

@DennisWF, are the errors you’re seeing from today or did they occur yesterday before the bug was fixed? Want to make sure this issue hasn’t resurfaced after the fix was put in place.

@Senthh Is this:

  1. an error you’re getting in a zap run where you’ve previously connected LinkedIn and it’s worked?
  2. an error you’re getting when trying to connect LinkedIn in Zapier for the first time?

@AndrewJDavison Yes, my Zap workflow was running fine till yesterday. But from today, I am seeing issue in connecting to my LinkedIn . But manually I am able to login without any issue with same credentials.

It will be helpful if you check if any issue in Zappier side?

Note: my workflow was working fine without any issue from Sept’25 without any change.

@Senthh

 Looks like a bug, as you’re not the only one:

I’d open a support ticket, plus maybe @SamB can confirm.

@AndrewJDavison Did you get a chance to create a support ticket for this issue?
Why we are not able to access linkedin via zappier suddenly?

@Senthh I’m not Zapier staff so I can’t open a support ticket for you.

As you can see in this thread it’s because LinkedIn updated their API:

@SamB thank you for the update!  I did notice that it was fixed yesterday.

YAY! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you so much @ThoughtsBrewing, @bryjo and @DennisWF for confirming, I’m so pleased it’s working now. 😅

As the issue has been resolved I’ll go ahead close out this topic. Feel free to start a new topic if anything else comes up. Until then, happy Zapping! ⚡
