Bonjour,

Reaching out to fellow members of the community to request their assistance. I’m working on a project in which I have to connect Zapier with WordPress. We are facing one error (403 Forbidden). We tried everything from our end. We tried deactivating all the plugins present in the shop along with all the must-have plugins. Also, read some posts in the community as well.  Still, we could not resolve it.
Reaching out to everyone in need of help.

Hi there @AshvinChavda,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering a 403 authentication error when trying to reconnect your WordPress account. This is a known issue that some users have experienced.

To address it, you might want to look at the following common problems before moving forward:

  1. Permalinks setup: Link Here
  2. Jetpack Protect Restriction: Link Here

If adjusting these settings doesn't help, I will need the following details about your WordPress installation so we can further investigate the issue:

  • A list of installed plugins on your WordPress site
  • Information about the hosting service you use for your WordPress site

Please keep me posted!

Hi there @AshvinChavda,

Thanks for the update here.

One user ran into the same error and they ended up reaching out to their site hosting provider Cloudways who resolved as follows:

In Cloudflare, “Firewall > Bots > Configure Super Bot Fight Mode > Definitely automated” was set to Challenge, preventing the Zapier connection from succeeding. Changing this to “Allow” allowed the Zapier connection to succeed most of the time, but not all of the time. In Zapier there are two versions of the Wordpress "app". The “non” legacy version of the Wordpress app in Zapier seems less stable. The “Wordpress (Legacy)” version connects more consistently. In Cloudways, enabling “XMLRPC Access” in "Application Settings > General" allowed the Zapier connection to succeed 100% of the time.

Could you please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if the settings above fixes the issue?
