Hi all,

 

I’m currently using Gemini 2.5 Pro (Experimental 03-25) via Google AI Studio. In Gemini 2.0 Flash, there used to be a “Files to Process” field where I could input file URLs. However, I’ve noticed that this field is not present in the Gemini 2.5 Pro interface.

 

Does this mean that file input is not currently supported in this version, or has the method for attaching files changed?

 

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing those helpful screenshots. I couldn’t find anything documented on our end to confirm whether that missing Files to process field is expected when using the Gemini 2.5 Pro (Experimental 03-25) model, so I’m not 100% sure if it’s a missing due to a bug or if this is more of a feature request. 

I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team about this directly—they’ll be able to confirm and can submit a bug report, or feature request as needed.
