Intercom “Could not find user with this email address” error

Hi, 

So I tried a different project and ended up getting a successful trigger! Thank you for your help on that :-) 



However, I am now encountering an error on the Intercom side:



I did some searching and saw that it’s trying to map the user who submits the ticket from Usersnap to a user in Intercom. Is that correct? Is there a way where that isn’t required?

Hi @0x Project! 👋

Hope you don’t mind but I moved your follow up question here out into a new topic since it relates to Intercom not Usersnap.

If the user that submitted the ticket in Usersnap isn’t in Intercom then the Zap will always run into that error. You’d potentially need to use a Create/Update User action in order to add them, then in the Send Incoming Message action, choose the Custom value option and select the ID for the user that was created by the previous step.
