I have a zap which transfers form information from jot form to mailchimp.
It isn’t transferring ALL the data EVERY time from the form
ie sometimes it misses out a couple of fields - annoyingly one is the first name field.
When I look in the run history it says those particular records have zapped successfully.
can anyone suggest why this might be happening and on an inconsistent basis please.
The attached record DIDNT transfer over the name or the month required

Thanks

Hi @Amanda Keech

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

For Zap Runs, you can check the history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace the data flow and troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hey @Amanda Keech, just checking in—were you able to get this sorted?

If not, has there been any change to the naming of those fields since you set the Zap up? Just wondering if that might explain why they’re sent over from JotForm but the Mailchimp action isn’t referencing them when adding/updating the subscriber. Although, I wouldn’t expect that to only affect things on an inconsistent basis. 🤔

If it is the case, I’d suggest selecting a live Zap run for the test record, then re-map the first name and month field to see if that allows them to be sent over to Mailchimp correctly. You can learn more about how to do that here: Modify test records in Zaps > Select from previous Zap run

And if that’s not it, can you share some screenshots as Troy mentioned so we can take a closer look at what else might be preventing the name and month from being transferred? Make sure to blur/remove any personal info (names, emails etc.) before sharing using a tool like Zappy.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
