I would like an Asana trigger for 'New Task assigned to me', not specific to a project

There was a similar post about this two years ago, where the team responded that this feature doesn’t exist. I’d like to request it again. 

I work as an admin assistant on a team of project managers. They primarily use Asana while I primarily use ToDoist for it’s calendar integration. I want to set up a zap that will create a ToDoist task anytime one of my teammates (or anyone really) assigns something to me in Asana. 

Please help!

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

The “New Task” in any project trigger is not possible at the moment. However, we do have an existing feature request for this exact functionality.

I have added you to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

In the meantime, you can stay in the loop/follow along with updates on the main thread here:
