Every few months WIX will make me recreate a ZAP that allows leads from my CMS form on WIX to auto populate into Pipedrive. I’m assuming since its a multi step form and saves on CMS then i would select cms form as the trigger correct? Only problem is all my fields have this weird name I haven’t seen before. Also when i selected a regular form it has some static text in there and doesn’t save what i enter into the fields but I can see it update on the cms backend. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Hi @SkylineLocators, welcome to the Community! 🎉

It seems like it’s only providing sample data for the test records instead of examples of real form data. There is a way to pull in a Zap run for the test record which should allow you to see the actual form fields, but you’d need to turn on the Zap first, and then submit the form so that it triggers the Zap. Once that’s done, on the Zap run you’d select the Use as a trigger sample option from the settings icon. You can learn more about how to do that here: Select from previous Zap run.

With a previous Zap run selected as the test record, you should then be able to map the relevant form fields in the Pipedrive action(s).

Can you you give that a try and let us know how it goes?

Yes I published but still didn’t see a “use as a trigger sample” option. Also the data that pulls through to pipedrive are those sample data no matter what i enter into the fields on actual form.

Hi @SkylineLocators

Wix Webhook Workaround:

Sorry to hear that, @SkylineLocators. The Use as a trigger sample option should be available after clicking the settings icon (the three dots) that appear next to the Zap run in the Zap editor.

For example:

Also the data that pulls through to pipedrive are those sample data no matter what i enter into the fields on actual form.

Did that happen with the live Zap run or was that when you tested in the Zap editor? I’d expect that to happen when carrying out a test directly within the Zap editor, as the test records only have sample data at the minute, but when it runs live it should be receiving real, not sample data from Wix. If it’s happening with the live Zap runs as well then that could be a bug 🤔 In which case, I’d recommend contacting our Support team to investigate it further. If it is a bug then they’ll be able to open a bug report to flag the issue to the developers of the Wix app so they can get it sorted.

Looking forward to hearing from you! 🙂

Hey @SkylineLocators, just checking in—were you able to get this sorted?

Let us know if you still need any help at all!
