Question

I get this error: "undefined method 'thumbnail' for an instance of Media::Video". How do i attach a thumbnail when setting up Publer Video post

When i was trying to post my video using Publer, I uploaded the media to Publer and it succeed, after that the ‘auto schedule post’ return the error as shown below:

Post failed: {"post_0":[{"account_id":"67fe102a51e9c****ad94c68","account_name":"********* Academy","provider":"youtube","message":"undefined method 'thumbnail' for an instance of Media::Video"}

This happened and i don’t know what to do to fix this situation, even when all credentials have been filled. When i post a picture on Publer, it works perfectly, but when i change the media file to a ‘video’. It shows this error and there is no credential for ‘thumbnail’ that i can work on

Hey there @bentosquid 👋

I did some checking on our side but couldn’t see any similar reports of that same “undefined method 'thumbnail' for an instance of Media::Video” error, but judging by the wording of the error it sounds like it’s trying to set a thumbnail for the video and that’s not supported.

I'd recommend reaching out to our Support team so they can investigate further. In the meantime, it might also be worth trying the Create Post action to see if the same error comes up there, as that would help the Support team narrow things down.

Let us know how it goes!
