Hubspot deal property change trigger is not producing test records.

Help us have more context by posting screenshots with what you are referring to for how your Zap trigger step is configured.

I’m trying to create a work around to add HS engagement events for deals that were previously created. So I am looking at some of my deal fields that I can update in HS that will trigger a deal property change. Then that would trigger the zap to create the additional engagement activities. I was thinking I could use the priority, next step or deal description field. So I’ve tried configuring and re-configuring step 1 to look for changes in those fields. Then I’ve made changes in records in those fields. None of the records I changed appear in the test record results. This didnt work for either of the three field configurations/tests.

I only get a result from the same deal over and over that has nothing to do with the changes I’ve made? It has client details, so I cannot send that screen shot.

With the example record returned from the Zap trigger step, are you still able to configure the Zap action steps?

If yes, then try turning the Zap ON and testing live.

Then check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace the data flow and troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

I guess I can duplicate the test record and edit it to continue. I’ll give it a shot
