Hi, I’ve had a couple of emails from Calendly and (Convert)Kit saying that a zap needs to be updated. I tried my best to do so, but I’ve just received the following email. Can anyone help me?
I really don’t know what I’m doing with Zap so any help would be great, especially if in simple terms! Thanks

I’m just going to repeat what is already in your screenshot.
In your Kit action step(s), it appears that you do not have any data or information added to Transaction ID, Email, and Product ID fields. All of which are required.
Most likely you need to fill those fields in from the previous steps or the trigger.
Hi David,
Thanks for this. Unfortunately I don’t know how to fill those fields in from the previous steps or trigger. Is there a way to do this?
thanks
When you click into the field, the choices from the previous steps should pop up. If not, you may have to click the + button.
Sorry, this is beyond me. I’ve got to the below stage, but it is saying that ‘Event Uuid’ and also ‘Transaction ID’ have no matches. I think I might be missing something fundamental here.
That looks like you didn’t “test” the trigger and it’s missing data. Even if you don’t have test data, it will still fill in with placeholder information.
You could also try NOT typing in search terms and just scrolling through the fields it does give you.

Hi @JammerS I wanted to add to this thread because I am having issues with this zap. I think I have all the fields mapped correctly (and calendly and kit connected) and it seems it still won’t turn on the zap, indicating to me that something is not setup correctly. Can you help?
Hi @CailinMcDuff,
If your Zap doesn't turn won't on, start by checking that all required fields are correctly mapped and that both your trigger (Calendly) and action (Kit) steps are correctly configured. Test the trigger to ensure it's pulling data, and verify that your accounts are connected in Zapier. Review any error messages or Zap history for clues, and try simplifying the Zap to identify the issue before adding complexity back in.
Following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue preventing your Zap from turning on. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need further help or have additional questions. We're here to support you.
