I am trying to create a zap so when a contact is created and/or updated in simPRO, the information pushes through to High Level (Lead Connector). This all seems to work seamlessly except I cannot get the ‘Mark as Lead” information to push through and/or update?

My understanding is the Contact Type field in High Level is what this relates to??? I have a field in simPRO that is called ‘Customer Type’ which is also a drop list selection (lead or customer) which is the same as the Contact Type field in High Level.

So basically I want the two fields in simPRO and High Level to match. 😀

One options is to add Paths: https://zapier.com/apps/paths/integrations#help

Each Path has a Filter, where you can set conditions.

 

If you are trying to dynamically populate that field value, then click the ...] button to switch to “Custom”.

I have successfully mapped the field, I have even just tried to use the radio buttons to select true or false but it is not updating the field within High Level (LeadConnector). I even tried using an array to convert the data so the output matches. I was hoping that there may be some lterature on the indivisual actions (add/update contact) to assist but I have had no luck..... I can achieve this by creating additional workflows in High Level but it will become quite messy....

For us to have more definitive proof. provide these screenshots:

  • From live Zap Runs, DATA IN/OUT for each step
  • the matching Contact in GHL showing the Contact Type

Were you able to get the contacts marked as leads? If so, would you be up for sharing how you did it? This would be super helpful for others that might be having the same issue. 🙏

And if not, can you share some screenshots as Troy mentioned so we can take a closer look at what’s happening when it’s running. Make sure to blur/remove any personal info (names, emails etc.) first, using a tool like Zappy.
