Hi,

 

I’m new to zap, i tried to make a zap that takes information of different websites it then makes a summary by using the AI of zapier.

In the next step i send it to myself and as “body” i use the dynamic memmory so it will be a new summary every day.

When i run the tests everything runs well and the email send how i expected it to send but the next day when i expected an email i did not receive anything.

 

My thoughts:

  • maybe the time zone (brussel +2) is not right with the 8:00 am schedule i chose.
  • maybe i did something wrong in the steps that i did not know.

If anyone has the answer or could help me it would be a pleasure!

You can set the timezone for your account in the settings, also makesure you have correctly set up the Schedule step to daily.

Review the Zap history to determine if it ran at the scheduled time when setting up your first Zap and if it isn't triggering as expected. If the Zap ran but an email wasn't sent, the issue may lie in the email step. If it didn't run, check the trigger and schedule settings, ensuring that the websites providing data are accessible and the schedule is correctly configured, with the timezone set to Brussels +2. Next, inspect the email step to confirm that the "To" field contains your correct email address and that the "Body" field pulls dynamic content accurately. If these checks don't resolve the problem, providing additional details, particularly about the trigger and action steps, and screenshots (redacted for privacy) can help further diagnose the issue effectively.
