Update: I found the issue and corrected it. So I’m good now.

 

I am brand new to Zapier and am creating a new Zap to add new contacts from my OwnerRez (vacation rental booking software) account to my Klaviyo marketing email list.

Everything went fine doing as directed until I got where I am being instructed to “Map the relevant guest information from OwnerRez to the corresponding fields in Klaviyo. Make sure to use the "email_address.address" field from OwnerRez to correctly map the email to Klaviyo,” and instead of being able to do that, I am instead being forced to enter a Profile ID, and am presented with a list of possible IDs of ny OwnerRez contacts to enter.

So this doesn’t make any sense to me. How do I proceed?

Wow! Thank you for confirming that your resolution got the Zap running. Do you mind sharing the resolution so our Community member can use it as reference with the same issue?


@JammerS here’s how to fix it:
 

  • Click the 3 dots near Profile ID field
  • Select “Custom” 
  • The + sign will now appear - select the field from the trigger you want to use as Profile ID
