šŸ“Œ Issue: Kajabi Zap Error – Required Field "Email" Missing from Trello/Crmble

What I’m trying to do:
I'm using Trello with the Crmble Power-Up and trying to send data from a Trello card to Kajabi via Zapier. The Zap is supposed to create a form submission in Kajabi when a new Trello card is created.

The problem:
Zapier throws this error:

āŒ Failed to create a submission in Kajabi
Required field "Email" (email) is missing.

However, the email field is filled out in Trello — specifically in the Crmble layout using a multivalue field. Zapier doesn't seem to detect or pull the email from that field when testing the Zap.

What I’ve checked so far:

  • The email field exists and is filled out on the Trello card.

  • Crmble is using a multivalue field for email.

  • In Zapier, the email mapping shows as blank — it doesn’t pull any email value.

  • I suspect Zapier can’t ā€œseeā€ into Crmble’s multivalue format.

My question:
šŸ‘‰ How can I format or map the email field from Trello/Crmble so Zapier recognizes it as a valid email for the Kajabi form submission step?
Do I need to:

  • Use a specific custom field in Trello for email instead of Crmble’s default?

  • Flatten or convert the multivalue?

  • Adjust the way Crmble saves email addresses?

Any help on how to make Zapier see and send that email field would be amazing.

You can add a delay step after the trigger step to delay for e.g 5 minutes afterwards add a Trello Get Card step and map the id of card from trigger step. This will get the detail of the card such as email etc which you can use in the next step to create form submission in Kajabi
