How to resolve 401 unauthorized error in Squarespace and Gmail integration

Hi guys, I’m currently having issues with my Zap which is connected to Squarespace and Gmail.

I’m currently not receiving the files that are uploaded via Gmail when a form submission is sent via a Squarespace forms.

The email contains all the other details except the uploaded file. Instead of the uploaded file there is a file which is called authorize.

Also in the Zap and in the Gmail section I see that there is a error message:

401: Unathorized - Post.

Any advice on how I can fix this issue that would be amazing as this is somewhat urgent.

Hi @Pj_Zap,

Welcome to the Community.

A "401: Unauthorized - Post" error typically indicates a permissions or connection issue between Zapier and Gmail. To resolve this, reconnect your Gmail account in Zapier's "Connected Accounts" section and ensure Zapier has proper permissions in your Google Account's security settings. Verify your Squarespace form is set to send files, not just links requiring authorization. Lastly, check your Zap's setup to confirm the file is correctly mapped to the "Attach File" field in the Gmail "Send Email" action.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
