How to filter Zapier to prevent errors when syncing contacts between systems

How do you create a filter that stops a Zap from running if the contactID in one system exists but doesn’t exist in the other? At the moment, it is giving an error when this happens, but we’d prefer that there were no errors. Is filtering the best way to go about this?

Hi @PatrickGaskin

Help links for using Filter: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/integrations#help

For us to have more context, outline a specific example in detail.

Include screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined.

Hey @PatrickGaskin, just checking in—how are things going with this? Did the guides Troy shared a link to help to point you in the right direction?

If not, perhaps you could try using ‘Exists’ filter conditions to see if a value exists for the contactID field for both actions?

Keen to ensure this gets sorted, so please keep us posted on your progress! 🙂
