Trying to create an automation so when we create an event a workflow is triggered. No matter what I try to put in the linked ID the test fails.

I would love for it to link to a client that we set the event for.

Thanks!

Hi @croser

TIPS:

  • You have selected “Linked to Type” = Contact, so the “Linked to ID” value should be the ID of the Contact from Wealthbox
  • Field input icon is 123, which indicates the field expects a value that is a number
  • Click the underlined field label to see a tooltip with more info that may help.

Hi @croser 👋

How are things progressing on this? Did Troy’s tips help to get it sorted?

When I choose from my options on the ‘Linked to Id’ I choose one, but I need it to be different everytime eg. the client that the event is scheduled for. So I have chosen the field but it fails the test every time.

Goal of the ZAP: When a calendar event is scheduled for a client, I want it to start the Annual Review workflow.

Hi @croser,

To ensure your Zap correctly triggers an Annual Review workflow when a calendar event is scheduled for a specific client, focus on dynamically mapping the "Linked to Id" field to pull the correct client ID from your trigger app. Verify that the client data is available in the event details, check field mapping accuracy, and use realistic test data to confirm functionality. Reviewing error messages and consulting app documentation can also help troubleshoot any data availability or mapping issues.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with.
