Question

How do I move confluence tasks to MS to do tasks?

Every time I am assigned a task (action item) in Confluence, I would like to automatically create a task with a link back to the confluence page) in MS to do.

I can’t seem to make this work.  When I use the updated page trigger all I get is a task in MS to do with the name of the page, no link, no task description.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks

Hi @goldenleah,

Welcome to the Community,

Thanks for reaching out to the Zapier Community! To ensure tasks from Confluence are created in Microsoft To Do with the correct details, confirm that the "Updated Page" trigger captures task-specific info like descriptions and URLs. If not, explore other triggers or use Confluence's API or webhooks. Use Zapier's Formatter to extract and format task data, then map it in the Microsoft To Do action, combine the page title and description for the task name, and include the page link in the description. Test and adjust as needed, and contact Confluence if you need further help.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Hey @goldenleah 👋

I just came across this and wanted to check how you’re getting on. Did Jammer’s reply help you get the tasks linked to the confluence page, or are you still stuck?

Keep us posted on your progress, want to make sure this gets sorted! 🙂
