I am using Dealfront which has a direct integration with Slack, but unfortunately Dealfront does not have a direct integration with Microsoft Teams (which is what my organisation uses).

The integration between Dealfront > Slack works perfectly, however as mentioned, nobody in my organisation uses it so they cannot see the information.

Therefore I wonder if it is possible to use Zapier to simply copy these Slack messages into the relevant Microsoft Teams chat?

I have tried to set up a Zap for this, but I cannot get the actual message content from Slack to display in Microsoft Teams, just a generic message along the lines of “Dealfront sent a message in the Slack channel on September 25th 2024

What I would like is it to replicate the message content over.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi @cmdogan,

Welcome to the Community.

You can copy Slack messages into Microsoft Teams using Zapier by setting up Slack as the trigger app with “New Pushed Message” and Microsoft Teams as the action app with “Create Channel Message” as the action. Connect both accounts, select the appropriate channels, and use the “Text” variable from Slack to ensure the message content is copied. Test the setup to ensure it works, then activate the Zap. Specific details may vary based on your requirements and Zapier’s interface.
