How can I prevent Zoho phone number from adding '+' when adding leads to Kixie powerlist using Zapier?

When entering a new Zoho module I want to add the lead to a Kixie powerlist.  The zap is working but the phone number format is incorrect on kixie's side.  For example the zoho phone number is xxxxxx4567, it becomes +xxxxxx4567 in kixie, which causes an error.  I want it to remain xxxxxx4567 without the +

How did you get on with that Formatter action Ken suggested? Did that help to get the numbers converted to the necessary format on Kixie’s end?
