Help with decimals! $1.09 becomes $109 (big difference!)

Hi, we created a trigger to pull data from Square to Wave but the sale amount was missing the decimal point so a sale of $1.09 was recorded in Wave as $109. Looking at the data pulled from Square in Zapier the raw data shows no decimal. 

The only help we found was the formatter tool but we don't know how to implement it with this zap trigger. 

Please advise, thank you!

Hi @hadas 

Good question.

Try adding a Zap step: Formatter > Numbers > Perform Math Operation (Divide by 100)

@Troy Tessalone Hi Troy, thanks for replying! I actually, sort of by accident, changed the Event from “New Payment” to “New Order” and it just worked itself out, no more decimal problems. But I like your solution totally makes sense! Thank you!
