Gmail Verification Issue: Unable to Forward emails to Zapier

Hello everyone,

This is my second post as the last one i think was not a clear post,

I am trying to fix zaps that were supposed to be triggered by emails coming to my inbound zapier email.
I set up the trigger in gmail and after that gmail asked for permission to allow forwarding,
when i go into my zaps trying to get the forward email confirmation in the test section i try to pull recent records but none are showing.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @tomas.klasauskas

Help articles for using the Email by Zapier app: https://zapier.com/apps/email/help

This article is out of date. It does not mention the step in Gmail where the forwarding address needs to be verified.

Hi @tomas.klasauskas,

Thanks for reaching out! If you're having trouble with your email trigger in Zapier, check that your Gmail forwarding is correctly set up and matches the Zapier address. Make sure your Zap uses the "New Inbound Email" trigger if you're using Zapier's Email app. Also, ensure Gmail's confirmation email was sent and accepted—resend it if needed. Double-check any Gmail filters that might block forwarding. If issues persist, reconnect your Gmail account to Zapier to resolve potential sync issues.

I hope this helps! If you're still experiencing issues, please provide more details about your Zap setup, and we'll be happy to assist you further.
