Gmail integration not triggering for threaded email replies

According to the Gmail Common Problems Page, using the “New Email” Trigger should trigger every time an email comes in, regardless of threading.  This is not the behavior I am experiencing though, my automation only runs once per email, regardless of the trigger I use, and I cant seem to find anywhere to change the setting to make it so that it will run for all threaded replies.

I was not able to get it working as expected. It seems that Zapier only picks up the email once when the tag is added. Subsequent replies are ignored regardless of the trigger that is used for the automation.

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action step that shows all of its fields.

Gmail Configuration: 

 

 

 

Filter: 



This is after several iterations, but continues to function the same.  I have tried both adding the filter to the gmail step, as well as a separate step as seen above.  In each case, the entire automation seems to work only 1 time after adding the label.  After that, the replies in the thread are ignored.

Thanks for sending the screenshots ​@c0ry! I’m not seeing any issues with your Zap setup. However, I agree that the “New Email” trigger should trigger on new replies on the thread. I’d recommend reaching out to our Support Team to take a closer look at the issue that you’re encountering since they have the correct tools to look closer at the Zap and its logs.
