Getting an Error Message on my ChatGPT assistant

The next step of the zap I’m creating is “Conversation with Chatgpt assistant”. In the process of configuring it, I got an error message that says: “Error timeout”

How do I solve this issue?

For us to have more info, post these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
  • the encountered error

I saw that you also reached out to our Support team, and they shared the following suggestion:

To address this, first, try reconnecting the apps involved in the Zap to ensure a stable connection. Then, test the Zap again to see if the issue persists. If the problem continues, consider reviewing any logs or settings in the apps to identify any potential causes for the delay. 

I didn’t see a reply from you there, so I wasn’t sure if their suggestion resolved the issue? If it did, please let us know 🙏

And if it didn’t fix it, I’d recommend following up with the Support team directly so they can investigate further in case you’re running into a bug. If you can’t find their reply in your inbox, try checking your spam/junk folder or search for emails from zapier.com in case it got misplaced.
