Question

frame.io Invalid argument when creating a new folder

I created a zap that creates a new frame.io project when I add a card in Trello. This is working fine, but I’d also like Zapier to create a folder in the new project. But it returns “invalid argument”

Hi @AlexJa

Make sure to test Step 3 so that the returned ID is a real Project ID.

Yes, but I can't choose a folder

Try selecting a Project from the dropdown list.

Then select the desired Folder from the dropdown list.

Then change the Project field value back to a dynamic variable.

Ok, yes I did. Unfortunately it doesn’t show anything under folder

Try clicking this button: [Refresh Results]

If there are still no results, then it would appear the only Folder available is the root folder.

Yes, I did refresh it but still no results.

Try selecting a Team.

Also tried that, doesn't make a difference

Make sure the Project ID from Step 3 is a valid option in the dropdown and still exists in Frame.io (has not been deleted).

Yes, it is valid. I also chose a project from the dropdown instead of a dynamic value, but I still don't get results for “folder”

Some options to consider:

Reach out to Frame.io Support for help with their Zap app integration.
