I’m troubleshooting a zap that worked until recently.

The error I keep receiving is that the formatter function has a null value. When running tests with recent record, it works fine (even when using a record that previously failed.

I’ve tried 2 formatter options (number - spreadsheet) and Text (extract number). Same issues with both.

Screenshot shows the mapped variable was either:

  • invalid and needs to be remapped from it’s origin Zap step
  • valid but had a value that was blank/empty/missing/null

 

It looks like the issue was isolated to re-running failed zaps. New records that triggered the zap are updating as expected!
