Hello, community.

We’ve been using zapier to pass leads from FB Adforms to our CRM via “POST in Webhooks by Zapier”.

This has worked out like a charm for last months in this flow:

Trigger → Path depending on a field → POST

Now we have to round-robin it to our team and flow had to be modified to be like this:

Trigger → Round-robin → Path depending on a Round-robin → Path depending on a field → POST

  • Round-robin is working nicely
  • Problem is first_name and email appear to be empty "No data to show for this record" while the rest of the fields show up.

Apart from the round-robin, this is the same exact flow copied so I don’t know why this is happening.

I need help getting data right.

Hi @Closa

Good question.

Check your Zap Runs activity history to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace and troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

We would need to see screenshots with how the Zap step in question is configured in EDIT mode.

FYI: There are more efficient ways to configure and manage round robin in Zaps, possibly via a lookup table:

Hi there @Closa👋

Hmm, has the exact same Facebook Lead Ads form been selected for both Zaps? Just wondering if there’s a difference in the naming of the fields available on the form that’s been selected for the second Zap that might account for why no value is being received. Do you think that might be the cause of the issue here?

Also, are the first name and email fields required or optional on the form? It could be that those field may have been left blank when the lead was filling out the form. In which case, updating the settings for those fields to make them required should help to ensure that they always contain a value.

Keen to help get to the bottom of this so will be keeping an eye out for your reply!
