Finding a deal in HubSpot using the Asset field in Zapier

I’m looking to create a dynamic action in Zapier that allows me to “Find a deal in HS” by searching for a specific property name, such as Asset(s). The trigger for this zap is an email we receive that contains an Asset number. The input is always a singular value, formatted as T plus a string—like T20 or T2.

However, the Asset(s) field can host multiple values together. For example, it might list “T2 T16 T45.” In cases like this, the “Find deal” action returns “False,” leaving us with no result.

I’m seeking suggestions on how to refine this setup so that it successfully locates a deal when the Asset(s) field contains the exact input amongst the other values.

Hi @Zuzanna

You may have to explore using the HubSpot API to do more advanced searching: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/overview
