Failed to create a task in Google Task: The app returned "Invalid task ID"

Hi all, i saw a similar question, but it was not resolved and maybe answered too specifically.

I have a zap that creates trello cards off of my google tasks

I’d like the final step of the zap to be to update the google task to complete, so I don’t see it on my list.  I’m trying to reference the Task Title that i’m getting from the first step in the last step, but i’m getting an “Invalid Task Id” error.

Any thoughts?

The Task field expects the Task ID from Step 1.

Hi @blackskyy

To help us have more context, please post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured.

Sure, so step 1, grab new task from google

step 2, create related card in trello

up to here it works.  the previous version of this zap ended here, and it was fine.

i’ve added step 3, to go back and “complete” the google task and here is where it fails
