Extract data from a PDF and enter into Excel spreadsheet

How do I create a zap that will extract the data (measurements of cabinetry) from a house floor plan which is a PDF doc and then put the measurements into an excel spreadsheet. The excel spreadsheet is already created with the lineal meter cost per cabinetry cupboard or benchtop, I just need the measurements from the PDF added to the qty column. So for example: The PDF shows a Island bench 3000mm long. I need that data to be put into the spreadsheet in the Island bench row in the quantity column as 3.

I started a zap that was 1. trigger: New File google drive 2. PDF to anything converter PDF.co and when I get to 3. Update spreadsheet rows, I enter the Drive as : Google Drive but the next step: spreadsheet, doesn’t even drop down, I just get an error:

No options are available.

Some reasons this could be happening:

  • Confirm if you connected the right account.
  • Confirm that there is data in the partner app.
  • Confirm that you have permission to the data in the partner app.
  • There was an issue retrieving data from the partner app. Please try again later.

Basically, I am trying to build an automation where I can get the information from the PDF to the spreadsheet and eventually train an ai agent to automatically quote for our cabinetry business.
