Question

Evaluate if a Salesforce field is blank

Hi,

I am building a Zap for when a record is updated in Salesforce, to look for or create a customer in stripe.

I want to evaluate if a lookup field in salesforce is blank. if it is, I want to go down one path. If its not blank, then I want to go and find that Account that is in the look field.

It seems like Zapier has a hard time with blank fields. It will error out. Any suggestion for how I should set this up?

Hi @etemkin 👋

How did you get on with that Exists condition Troy suggested using? Did it allow the Zap to continue down the path if the relevant field in Salesforce is blank?

Keep us posted on how it went, want to make sure you’re all set! 🙂
