Error when uploading file to onedrive from jotform

Hi all,

I am having trouble uploading a file from jotform to onedrive. It looks like this was a issue a few months ago and was supposedly fixed. Its still not working for me. I keep getting the “Failed to create a file in OneDrive: Error from halted execution” error message. Any guidance on how to fix this?

I tried the same file upload with Google Drive and it worked on the first try.

I also notice that when I run the test to try out the upload, after it times out I get an email from zapier telling me to reconnect my onedrive account.

@BryanYak4349 This sounds like somewhere where you’d be better off filing a support ticket with Zapier.

Hi @BryanYak4349

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings and field types visible, along with any encountered errors.

For Jotform, check your account settings related to security for uploaded files.

Hey @BryanYak4349,

File upload using URL only works for publicly accessible link in Zapier. Try entering the URL you are getting from Jotform in a browser to see it requires you to login or directly download the file. If it requires you to login you have to change setting from Jotform side to make it publicly accessible. Here is a helpful article about it here- https://www.jotform.com/help/673-how-to-unrequire-log-in-to-view-uploaded-files/.

If it’s a publicly accessible file but still resulting in error, then please upload screenshots of Data In, Data Out, the error as well as how each Zap step is configured for us to have more context as there might be some issue with the conguration or the logic. Hope it helps!

Hi there @BryanYak4349 👋

Have you had a chance to look into Troy and Sparsh’s suggestions here? Was it the Require log-in to view uploaded files setting in Jotform that was causing the errors?

Keep us posted on your progress, want to make sure this gets fixed!
